Please let the school office know as soon as you decide to enrol your child at school. Please read the section on boundaries (below).
An application to enrol (see link below) must be completed and presented at the office and if a place is available that meets the needs of the child you will be invited to fill in an enrolment form.

When you enrol your child, you will need to produce your child’s birth certificate, immunisation records and proof of your address (eg telephone account, rates bill), details of any legal/custodial issues, and evidence of citizenship or residency status (if applicable). Children must be enrolled with the name as on the birth certificate.
All schools are staffed on current and estimated enrolments so it is important that we are able to keep our registers up to date.
Ellenbrook Independent Primary School is a local intake school and the catchment boundaries are as follows:
Ellenbrook Primary School– all students living east of Pinaster Parade, south of the Coolamon subdivision, The Promenade and Millhouse Road; West of Henley Brook Avenue and south of Gnangara Road including the suburbs of Whiteman Edge, Brabham, etc. (optional areas). The streets between Henley Brook Avenue and Amethyst, Flecker, Neary to Gnangara Road are also optional areas to attend Ellenbrook IPS.
- If one family member is already enrolled at the school and then moves out of the school catchment, the family has the option of leaving the enrolled child/children at the original school and younger children may also enrol at the same school, (if the school can accommodate them) so that families are not having to travel between school sites.
- Out of boundary placement for Kindergarten does not grant the student access to the school for primary schooling.
- Whiteman Edge and Brabham are optional enrolment areas for Ellenbrook Independent Primary School or Caversham Primary School.
Emergency Contact Information
Parents are requested to complete the enrolment form with all information, including mobile telephone numbers and emergency contacts at the time of enrolment. The information provided enables us to make contact with a parent or caregiver if students are hurt or ill.
When the situation requires emergency action the school will call an ambulance on behalf of the child’s parent/guardian.
